Taipei – Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE)
Perhaps the best option to get to the airport from Taipei Main Station is the 1819 bus. It runs every 15-20 minutes, 24 hours a day, and the journey takes about 55 minutes. A standard adult ticket costs TWD 125. If you want to take a taxi, it’s very safe as all drivers are strictly evaluated. Taxi fares are based on the metre and depend on where you’re travelling from.
Kaohsiung – Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH)
There are high-speed rail, metro and bus services connecting Kaohsiung with its airport, and taxis are an option too. If you want to use public transport, we recommend the Metro, as trains run at least every 8 minutes between approximately 06:00 and midnight.
